Free congenital heart disease screening for children

QTO - On the morning of September 26, the Quang Tri Province Association for Supporting Poor Patients in collaboration with VinaCapital Foundation and Hoan My Da Nang Hospital organized congenital heart disease screening for primary school students and preschool children in Sen Ngu commune, Quang Tri province.

During this examination, hundreds of children were directly examined, had ultrasounds and health consultations by cardiologists of Hoan My Da Nang Hospital. At the same time, they were diagnosed and given treatment regimens when congenital heart defects were detected. This program was carried out at 8 kindergartens and primary schools in Sen Ngu commune and took place from September 23 to September 26, 2025.

This free screening for congenital heart disease for children aims to detect cases of heart disease early; advise families to take their children to medical facilities for treatment, contributing to minimizing complications and improving the quality of life for children.
