On November 25, the Nha Trang Port Border Guard Station, Khanh Hoa Border Guard, said it is implementing many activities to support people affected by the recent floods.

The unit mobilized vehicles to transport and provide free fresh water to more than 100 households that are seriously lacking clean water in Dong Ro hamlet, Vinh Xuan village, Nam Nha Trang ward (Khanh Hoa province). Due to the impact of floods, for many days now, people in Dong Ro hamlet have had no water for daily use because the water supply system has been damaged. With timely water supply from the army, people have taken advantage of the opportunity to use cans, barrels, and plastic buckets to get fresh water for cooking and daily activities.

The Nha Trang Port Border Guard Station also coordinated with local forces to clean up mud, collect garbage and clear clogged sewers after the flood. Environmental sanitation work was carried out urgently, and the entire area was sprayed with disinfectants to ensure environmental hygiene and safety, limit the risk of disease outbreaks, and help people return to normal life soon.
