Border Guard Lieutenant returns lost property to British tourist

At about 3:00 p.m. on November 26, while on patrol in the Bai Thung area (Vinh Hy village, Vinh Hai commune), Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Phi Hung - Captain of the Drug and Crime Prevention Team, Vinh Hai Border Guard Station - Khanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard discovered and picked up a black and white bag in the coastal area.

Immediately after discovery, Lieutenant Hung reported to the unit commander and conducted an inspection according to regulations. Inside the bag were many important personal documents such as passports, bank cards... bearing the name of Mr. Millar Christopher Charles (born in 1992, British nationality), along with some valuable assets including: 1 Apple Watch, 1 Casio watch and some other items, estimated to be worth about 27 million VND in total.

Tourist Millar Christopher Charles was delighted to receive his property back.

Through inspection and verification, the Border Guard force learned that Mr. Millar Christopher Charles was staying at Miami Hotel (Phan Rang Ward). Based on the information from the accommodation facility, the unit contacted the tourist directly. At about 4:00 p.m. the same day, Mr. Millar Christopher Charles went to Vinh Hai Border Guard Station to complete the procedures to receive his property. After comparing and confirming the exact documents and lost items, Vinh Hai Border Guard Station proceeded to hand over all the property to the tourist in accordance with regulations.
