Tri An Hydropower Plant reduces water discharge downstream

On the afternoon of November 27, Tri An Hydropower Company announced that it will reduce the amount of water regulated through the reservoir spillway from 8:00 a.m. on November 28, 2025.

Specifically, based on the water flow into the lake, the upstream water level and the regulation situation of the upper hydropower plants, the unit will reduce the overflow flow from 800m³/s to 480m³/s.

The total discharge flow downstream ranges from 820m³/s to 1,080m³/s.

Tri An Hydropower Company said it will continue to flexibly adjust the amount of water released depending on weather developments, water volume in the lake, water level at the reservoir and at Bien Hoa hydrological station to ensure safety for downstream.
