Khanh Hoa province adjusts all land types related to the type of "residential land not forming residential units" to "commercial, service and tourism land at the Hai Dao Tourist Area Project".

Hao Dao Tourist Area Project (also known as Champa Island Nha Trang Project) is "residential land not forming residential units" by Khanh Hoa province.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just approved the adjustment of land use characteristics in the Detailed Planning (scale 1/500) of Hai Dao Tourist Area (also known as Champa Island Nha Trang Project), Vinh Phuoc Ward, Nha Trang City.

Accordingly, Khanh Hoa province adjusted all land types related to the type of "residential land not forming residential units" to "commercial, service and tourism land" which had issued decisions and in the planning drawings attached to the previous project.

At the same time, Khanh Hoa province abolished the management regulations for the type of "residential land not forming residential units" for the Hai Dao Tourist Area Project.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Construction, Department of Finance, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Provincial Tax Department, Nha Trang City People's Committee, according to their assigned functions and tasks, to be responsible for inspecting, reviewing to handle and overcome contents and issues that are not in accordance with regulations and to carry out related procedures to ensure that the Hai Dao Tourist Area Project complies with the law.

According to statistics from the authorities of Khanh Hoa province, in this province there are nearly 50 projects with the type of "residential land without forming residential units", mainly concentrated in Nha Trang city, the northern Cam Ranh peninsula area, including the Champa Island Nha Trang Project. In this list, there are 18 projects in the Northern Cam Ranh peninsula tourist area, the rest are concentrated in Nha Trang city.

The concept of "residential land not forming residential units" is understood as residential land where only administrative infrastructure works are formed but not technical infrastructure works serving the community such as education , health, culture, sports...

Previously, in Khanh Hoa, there were many licensed projects with residential land that did not form residential units.

However, the Central agencies determined that this is a type of land not included in the Land Law and allowing investors to invest in this type of land is unfounded.

Therefore, Khanh Hoa province has been and is continuing to eliminate this type of land.
