After more than 10 months of rapid construction, Phong Chau Bridge has entered the final stages of completion to officially inaugurate and open to traffic on September 28.

When put into use, the bridge will meet the needs of people on both sides of the Red River, and at the same time reconnect National Highway 32C which has been interrupted for the past year. Currently, construction units are focusing on installing median strips, painting road markings and dismantling tower cranes. Cleaning and landscaping work is also being carried out to ensure progress and technical requirements. The main items of the project such as bridge structure, lighting system, railings, and bridge deck have been completed, all work will be completed before September 25, serving the inauguration and opening ceremony on September 28.
