Bridge inaugurated in Thanh Loc commune.

On the afternoon of August 12th, the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association of An Giang province, in coordination with the People's Committee of Thanh Loc commune, held a ceremony to inaugurate a rural traffic bridge in Hoa Phuoc hamlet, Thanh Loc commune.

Representatives cut the ribbon to inaugurate the TPC Bridge of Love No. 3.

The TPC Bridge of Love No. 3 is 22m long, 3.5m wide, and has a load capacity of 5 tons. The total cost of materials was 210 million VND, funded by the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association of An Giang province through the Nguyen Van Don Volunteer Bridge Construction Team (Hon Dat Branch of the Association for the Support of Poor Patients); TPC Company ( Ho Chi Minh City) donated 100 million VND; the local government contributed 80 million VND, and the remainder was contributed by philanthropists and the people.

At the ceremony, the People's Committee of Thanh Loc commune presented a certificate of commendation to TPC Company; the Union of Friendship Organizations of Kien Giang province (formerly) awarded plaques of recognition to the two sponsors who contributed to the construction of TPC Bridge of Love No. 3.

On this occasion, the sponsor donated 10 gift packages (worth 220,000 VND each) to disadvantaged households in Thanh Loc commune.
