Attending the event were comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Prime Minister, along with the Party and State leaders, leaders of Khanh Hoa province and representatives of central and local ministries and branches.
Inspired by the design of the "That" - a traditional fishing tool with a strong Vietnamese cultural identity, the "That" theater has a capacity of 536 seats, meeting the strict standards and requirements for performing arts at international level.
In the activity plan, every day at the “That” stage, the art show “Lite Puppets - Dream Puppetry” is performed, which is a show that innovates the water puppet heritage and new puppetry forms such as shadow puppetry, string puppetry combined with the Southeast Asian native orchestra. In addition, this is also the place where many cultural activities take place in the country and the region.

Within the framework of this event, Khanh Hoa province - Vietnam Cinema Association and Vega City Joint Stock Company, part of KDI Holdings Group, announced a cooperation agreement to annually organize the Kite Awards at the "Do" Theater starting from 2023.
Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan shared: Nha Trang is a tourist destination, an ideal resort known to domestic and international tourists for a long time. To maintain its brand and access high-class tourism service values of the region and the world , Nha Trang is in great need of a modern, synchronous tourism infrastructure system, especially unique and special tourism products, to meet the increasing needs of tourists.
Directing relevant units, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh commended the investor for building the first private theater project in Vietnam.
The Prime Minister hopes that the investor of the “That” Theater will continue to study the country’s traditional culture in order to promote its unique, rich and deeply imbued values with national identity; continue to perfect the complete model combining the State with the private sector, between local authorities and investors, between investors and the public to create motivation and inspiration for development. State management agencies from the central to local levels must work with enterprises to promote national cultural values, create development motivation, and develop the Vietnamese tourism brand in the international arena.
