Inauguration of seafood processing factory with investment capital of 400 billion VND

On May 19, at the Bac Lieu High-Tech Shrimp Development Agricultural Zone (Hiep Thanh Commune, Bac Lieu City, Bac Lieu), Viet Uc Group inaugurated the Viet Uc Seafood Processing Factory with a scale of 10 hectares, a total investment of 400 billion VND, and a processing capacity of 5,000 tons/year.

Viet Uc Seafood Processing Factory applies over 70% automation technology; continuous production chain from receiving raw materials to packaging finished products; applies modern technology from countries such as the US, Europe, Japan, meeting international standards. The factory produces value-added processed shrimp products that meet the most stringent standards from demanding import markets.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Pham Van Thieu, Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and warmly commended the dedication and investment efforts of Viet Uc Group in the fields of shrimp farming, seed production and seafood processing in particular, and the development of agriculture and trade in Bac Lieu province in general.
