Reuters quoted two informed sources as saying that US Vice President Kamala Harris will make a concession speech in the election at 4:00 a.m. on November 7 (Vietnam time, or 4:00 p.m. on November 6, US time).
Reuters initially reported that Harris would speak at 6 a.m. on November 7, but later cited sources who changed the time. On the same day, NBC News and CNN reported that Harris would call former President Donald Trump to concede and make a public speech. A Harris aide said the Democratic candidate was preparing the content of the speech.

Hours after the polls closed, Kamala Harris' campaign said the Democratic presidential nominee would postpone her post-election speech, which was originally scheduled to take place at Howard University in Washington, DC, where she watched the vote count. Harris's new scheduled speech will also take place there.
Also according to NBC News, US President Joe Biden is expected to call Mr. Trump and will give a speech about the election results, a White House official revealed. The time for Mr. Biden's above schedules has not been determined.
Previously, the White House said President Biden would call to congratulate Mr. Trump, invite him to the White House and attend the inauguration, which is considered a tradition for incumbent presidents to invite their successors. Mr. Trump did not do any of the above activities when Mr. Biden was elected in 2020.
As of this afternoon (Vietnam time), US media outlets have all projected that Mr. Donald Trump has received 270 electoral votes to be elected the 47th President of the United States. In 7 important battleground states, Mr. Trump has won in North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. In 3 states of Michigan, Arizona and Nevada, Mr. Trump is also leading and is likely to end up winning in all battleground states.
