The event was organized by the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club in coordination with the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund, attracting a large number of delegates, artists, businessmen, cultural andeducational experts and the public.
The program opened with a special Ao Dai performance with the participation of more than 60 members from Dien Ban, Duy Xuyen, Dai Loc, Que Son, Hoi An, Phu Ninh, Tam Ky districts... and the whole city of Da Nang .
In her welcoming speech, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam, President of the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund, said that after a series of events launching Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Clubs on a large scale at home and abroad, the launching ceremony of the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club in Quang Nam province continues to affirm the importance of the Ao Dai heritage and will continue to contribute to preserving and honoring the values of this heritage in life.

The program brought the audience profound artistic performances such as the dance “Homeland of Three Regions” or the song “Vietnamese Ao Dai” performed by blind singer Truong Thi Bich Diem. Each performance skillfully highlighted the beauty of the Ao Dai in life and art.
According to Ms. Le Thi Thu, Director of the Quang Cultural Heritage Center and Chairwoman of the Club, the ao dai is a long-standing cultural symbol and one of the brands to identify Vietnam's image in the journey of international integration.
With the appeal and cooperation from the Club members, in recent times there have been many meaningful social activities in the locality, from art performances, thematic discussions, organizing classes to teach how to sew traditional Ao Dai in rural areas, to charity programs to support the poor.

Also within the framework of the program, the Club's Board of Directors was launched, including Vice Chairmen and representatives of the communication, charity, foreign affairs, advisory departments... The Board of Directors includes many prominent figures in the fields of culture, arts, education and research.
During the ceremony, through the Association for the Support of the Disabled, Children’s Rights and Poor Patients of Quang Nam Province, the Club presented 60 gifts worth 30 million VND to poor students who have overcome difficulties. The gifts were sponsored by benefactors who have always accompanied many charity activities of the Club in the past time.
