Course on data analysis methods and international publication

The course equips students with skills and knowledge about scientific research design, how to prepare and publish scientific articles in international journals, guided by Professor Nguyen Van Tuan and Dr. Tran Son Thach (Australia).

The Southern Institute for Social Resource Development is the unit implementing the course, consisting of 7 sessions, taking place from December 16 to December 22 in a combination of online and offline formats.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Vy, director of the Southern Institute for Social Resource Development, said the course content includes 23 lectures, divided into 2 parts.

Part 1 is research design, including some important lectures such as scientific research process, research questions, research model: experiment, research model: observation, research outline...

Part 2 is how to write scientific articles and publish internationally, including some important lessons such as IMRaD structure, how to title an article, how to write an abstract, how to write an introduction, how to write a method section...

The lecturer is Professor Nguyen Van Tuan - an outstanding professor at the University of Technology Sydney (Australia) - director of the Center for Medical Technology at the University of Technology Sydney, the first Vietnamese to become an academician of the Australian Academy of Medicine.

In addition, Dr. Tran Son Thach is a lecturer at the University of Technology, Sydney (Australia), with more than 15 years of experience in research design and data analysis. In the past 5 years, he has published 45 original articles and 1 Cochrane review.
