The conference announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on the assignment and appointment of leaders and managers of agencies and units, including: Office of the City Party Committee, Organization Committee of the City Party Committee, Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee, Internal Affairs Committee of the City Party Committee; Political School; Can Tho Newspaper, Radio and Television Agency.
Accordingly, comrade Pham Thi Phuong holds the position of Head of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee; comrade Nguyen Du, Chief of the City Party Committee's Office; comrade Nguyen Thien Nhon, Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee; comrade Vo Chi Cong, (Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the City Party Committee's Standing Committee), Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; comrade Le Tan Thu, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.
At the same time, assign and appoint comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyet Loan, member of the City Party Committee, as Principal of Can Tho City Political School; comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tam, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee (former Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the old Can Tho City Party Committee), as Editor-in-Chief of Can Tho Newspaper and Radio and Television...
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee Do Thanh Binh congratulated the comrades assigned and appointed. At the same time, he believed that with a sense of responsibility, strong political will and aspiration to contribute, the comrades would excellently complete the assigned tasks, worthy of the trust of the Party Committee, government and people of Can Tho City.
The Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee emphasized that heads of agencies and units, based on the functions, tasks and approved personnel plans and projects of the unit, should promptly arrange personnel, stabilize the organization, so that the apparatus can operate smoothly according to the new model; stabilize the ideology of cadres, civil servants and public employees; and make the best use of new resources and advantages after the merger.
Along with that, urgently issue working regulations, develop work programs, assign specific tasks to each comrade in the agency and unit to ensure leadership, direction, and implementation of work and tasks smoothly, promptly, effectively, without interruption, without creating legal gaps, affecting people and businesses. Promote the spirit of solidarity and unity to successfully complete assigned political tasks.
Agencies Actively and proactively coordinate to create synchronization and connectivity in directing, operating, and implementing tasks, especially in the early stages after the merger, to avoid overlapping, pushing, and stagnation. Strictly implement discipline and administrative order; innovate leadership, direction, and operation styles towards being close to the people, working closely, and for the benefit of the people.
Strongly apply digital transformation in management, operation, processing, and work resolution. Review the current status of headquarters, working conditions, and organize and scientifically arrange workplaces for cadres, civil servants, and public employees.
The Standing Committee of Can Tho City People's Council also issued a Resolution appointing members of the Can Tho City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Specifically, 12 officials were appointed to hold the position of members of the Can Tho City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, including: Mr. Huynh Viet Hoa, Director of the City Police; Mr. Huynh Van Hung, Commander of the City Military Command; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Trung, Chief of the City People's Committee Office; Mr. Mai Van Tan, Director of the Department of Construction; Mr. Ngo Thai Chan, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Ngo Anh Tin, Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Nguyen Van Bay, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Hoang Quoc Cuong, Director of the Department of Health; Mr. Nguyen Van Quan, Director of the Department of Justice; Mr. Lam Hoang Mau, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; Mr. Ha Vu Son, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Chief Inspector of the city.
