Free medical examination and medicine for people in My Quy commune

On November 30, the Volunteer Medical Team for Humanitarian Medical Examination and Treatment (Tay Ninh Provincial Red Cross) coordinated with the People's Committee of My Quy Commune to organize a program to examine, provide free medicine and give gifts to people in difficult circumstances in the commune.

The program, mobilized by the Provincial Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims, attracted more than 300 participants, mainly the elderly, poor and near-poor households, and policy families.

Youth Union members enthusiastically support and guide people to medical examination.

At the program, the team of doctors and nurses will conduct general examinations and screen for common diseases such as high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, bone and joint diseases, respiratory diseases, dermatology, etc.; advise on health care regimens, guide seasonal disease prevention, and provide free medicine to the people.

In addition to medical examination activities, the delegation also presented 300 gifts including necessities, totaling 25 million VND, supported by Thao Kim Ngan Company Limited, along with medicine worth 30 million VND.

The gifts are socialized and given to people by the program.
