Commencement of renovation of Nam Cang school

On April 12, in Nam Chac commune (Bat Xat), Newton Secondary and High School (Hanoi) coordinated with local authorities to organize the groundbreaking ceremony to renovate Nam Cang school, belonging to Nam Chac Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.

Representatives of the sponsoring unit and local authorities started the school renovation.

Nam Cang school is 7 km from the center of Nam Chac commune, with difficult traffic. In September 2024, storm No. 3 severely damaged the entire school building and boarding house of the school, seriously affecting the daily life and study of 52 teachers and students.

In order to share and encourage people in flood-hit areas, Newton Secondary and High School launched a fundraising campaign to support school repairs. The total amount raised was over 211 million VND.

In addition, the school's GROOVE FOR GIVING Club organized a music night and raised 20 million VND for students at Nam Cang school, helping teachers and students here overcome difficulties and excel in teaching and learning.
