Construction begins on the renovation of Nam Cang school.

On April 12th, in Nam Chac commune (Bat Xat district), Newton Secondary and High School (Hanoi) collaborated with the local authorities to hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation of Nam Cang school branch, which belongs to Nam Chac Ethnic Boarding Primary and Secondary School.

Representatives from the sponsoring organization and local authorities commenced the renovation of the school.

The Nậm Cáng school is located 7 km from the center of Nậm Chạc commune, in an area with difficult access. In September 2024, the remnants of typhoon No. 3 severely damaged the entire school building and boarding house, seriously affecting the lives and studies of 52 teachers and students.

To share and encourage people in flood-affected areas, Newton Secondary and High School launched a fundraising campaign to support the repair of the school building. The total amount raised was over 211 million VND.

In addition, the school's GROOVE FOR GIVING Club organized a music night and raised 20 million VND to donate to students at Nam Cang school, helping teachers and students there overcome difficulties and excel in teaching and learning.
