On the morning of August 19, the Government held an online groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony for 250 projects at 80 locations nationwide, both in-person and online. The event was meant to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.
As one of 80 national online bridges, Vietnam Post Corporation (Vietnam Post) solemnly held the groundbreaking ceremony and inaugurated three key projects: Postal Logistics Platform, New Data Center and Vietnam Post Traditional Room.
Accordingly, the Postal Logistics Platform is a key project, with the goal of becoming a strategic solution to modernize and comprehensively digitalize Vietnam Post's postal, logistics, e-commerce and distribution activities.
The platform integrates synchronous subsystems: Multi-channel order management, transportation, sorting, smart warehousing, financial payment... to create a unified, automated system, optimize operations and enhance customer experience.
The platform also enables analysis and decision-making based on big data, meeting international standards in the logistics sector. The Postal Logistics Platform will be completed before April 30, 2026, making Vietnam Post a pioneering 4.0 logistics enterprise, fully meeting the development requirements of cross-border e-commerce.

Also on August 19, the new data center of Vietnam Post was started. The center is designed according to international standards (Tier III), high-speed, secure multi-line network connection, ensuring continuous operation 24/7. The information security monitoring system is deployed according to ISO 27001 standards; the server system and network equipment ensure synchronous and modern security, providing computing capacity to more than 1,000 virtualized servers, storing hundreds of Petabytes of data.
The center will meet the requirements of deploying new technologies such as: Big Data, AI, IoT... In particular, the private cloud computing technology infrastructure is not only for internal use, but is also designed to be open so that in the future it can provide public cloud computing services and multi-cloud services for businesses and customers in the market. The new data infrastructure system is expected to be operational on December 15, 2025.

With the Vietnam Post Digital Tradition Room, this is a symbolic project, a place to preserve and connect the heroic 80-year memories of the Postal industry with the aspiration for comprehensive digital transformation in the new era.
The exhibition space harmoniously combines physical and digital artifacts according to the timeline: Past - Present - Future. The Traditional Room consists of 12 areas, in which the highlight is the main theme area: The period of resistance and national construction (1945-1975); the period of Unification and Modernization (1976-2006); the period of Reaching new heights (2007 to present).
In particular, the 3D Electronic Traditional Room will provide a virtual tour experience via the website: https://truyenthong.vietnampost.vn/index.htm, allowing detailed viewing of artifacts, images, illustrative videos and remote navigation of the museum space.
With the message "Proud of the past - Connecting the future," the Digital Tradition Room will become a space for experience, education, and inspiration for officers and employees of the Postal sector, customers, partners, students, and the community.

Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Post Corporation, affirmed that at Vietnam Post, technology not only creates the future but is also a touch point to connect and spread the past.
"Vietnam Post will create new breakthroughs to ensure material flow with four driving forces: new organizational model, new economic mechanism, new service ecosystem and comprehensive digital transformation," Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang shared./.
