Launching the "Sharing with Teachers" program in 2024.

This activity is aimed at preparing for the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024-2029; implementing the "I Love My Homeland" movement of the Vietnam Youth Union; carrying out the Union's work program and youth movement in 2024; and celebrating the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20).

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy, Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, said that 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the "Sharing with Teachers" program, organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training and Thien Long Group. This year, the program will honor outstanding teachers who have been and are currently teaching at all levels in the general education system, specifically: Teachers working at remote schools in disadvantaged communes in Zone III of ethnic minority and mountainous areas, during the period 2021-2025 according to Decision No. 861/QD-TTg dated June 4, 2021 of the Prime Minister.

After nine editions, the program has selected and honored more than 500 outstanding teachers from all over the country, from mountainous regions to remote islands.

According to Standing Vice Chairman Nguyen Kim Quy, entering its 10th year, the Organizing Committee has decided to expand the scope of teachers to be honored, in order to recognize and encourage teachers from many regions and working in various specialized fields. In addition, this year, the journeys of gratitude and accompanying activities will be intensified...

Applications will be accepted from August 20th to October 1st, 2024. Address for submission: Central Office of the Vietnam Youth Union, 64 Ba Trieu Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi (Please clearly state on the application cover: Participation in the "Sharing with Teachers" program 2024).

The program runs from August to November 2024. The peak period is in November, with a series of meaningful activities honoring teachers.

Teachers who are honored will receive Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; commemorative medals and savings accounts worth 10 million VND.

In addition, this year the program will have many accompanying activities to spread practical actions in society to show gratitude to teachers and respect for education...

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union signed a cooperation agreement with Thien Long Group.

The "Journalism Shares with Teachers" program aims to help journalists and reporters spread stories about teachers, highlighting their innovative teaching methods and the positive teacher-student relationships.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also organized the 2024 Teacher Appreciation Journey across three regions of the country to witness the teaching and training process of teachers and to spread to the whole society beautiful stories about the extraordinary efforts of teachers in overcoming difficulties to impart knowledge. The journey included the participation of prominent KOLs such as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Nam, Miss H'Hen Niê, Miss Luong Thuy Linh…
