Launching the project to expand the capacity of PETEC Hai Phong petroleum depot to 40,000m³

On August 12, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, the contract for the project to expand the capacity of PETEC Hai Phong petroleum depot to 40,000 m³ was signed between the General Trading and Investment Corporation - JSC (PETEC) and the consortium of contractors including: PTSC Thanh Hoa Technical Services Joint Stock Company (leading the consortium), Dai Dung III Mechanical Joint Stock Company and Phuong Anh Construction, Trade & Design Joint Stock Company.

According to the contract, the contractor consortium will design, purchase and construct 04 petroleum tanks with a capacity of 10,000m³ each, along with auxiliary works at PETEC Hai Phong petroleum depot. This is an important project, contributing to improving the petroleum storage and distribution capacity of PETEC and PVOil, serving the economic development of the region and ensuring national energy security.

On the afternoon of August 19, 2025, the groundbreaking ceremony of the project was solemnly held with the participation of representatives of leaders and staff of all parties. On the side of PETEC Corporation, there was Mr. Tran Van Duong - General Director and the Board of Directors of PETEC Hai Phong warehouse enterprise, representatives of specialized departments. On the side of the contractor consortium, there was Mr. Vu Van Vuong - Deputy Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa, Mr. Trinh Xuan Huyen - Deputy General Director of Dai Dung Group, along with leaders, managers and team of engineers and workers of the project.

  Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Duong - General Director of PETEC affirmed the importance of the project in the long-term development strategy of the unit. At the same time, he also presented the urgent tasks and requirements of the project in the coming time to ensure the most effective implementation.

  Representing the contractor consortium, Mr. Vu Van Vuong - Deputy Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa shared the practical experiences of the unit as well as the contractor consortium in implementing mechanical EPC projects for the industrial - energy sector. With that foundation, the consortium committed to making maximum efforts to ensure the project is implemented on schedule, safely and with the highest quality. He also represented the contractor consortium to express his deep gratitude to the Board of Directors of the Technical Trading and Investment Corporation - JSC, management agencies and partners for trusting and accompanying the consortium in this project. That trust and support is a great source of encouragement for the contractor team to be determined to successfully implement the project.
