On November 29, within the framework of the Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta Tourism - Trade Week held in Can Tho, the Organizing Committee announced the results of the vote for Attractive Tourist Destinations of Ho Chi Minh City and 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta in 2024 with the theme "Elevating destinations - Connecting journeys".
From 126 tourist destinations, tourists and experts have selected 50 tourist destinations to receive certification from the organizing committee. This certificate is issued by the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Development Cooperation Council and 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta in 2024.
The above certification is a motivation for Mui Ca Mau Tourist Area to make more efforts in terms of service quality and types of tours to attract more tourists to the province.
Ca Mau Cape National Tourist Area has an area of about 20,100 hectares.
In which, the concentrated development area has an area of about 2,100 hectares, this is the core area, focusing on the development of the national tourist area, the core center of the national tourist area with tourism works, service centers, entertainment, mangrove ecological resorts; including the main functional areas: Mui Ca Mau Cultural Tourism Park, coastal forest ecological tourism area, forest village ecological tourism area, craft village ecological tourism area and Khai Long general tourism area.

Ca Mau Cape is an attractive place for tourists because of the unique value of Ca Mau Cape National Park - the green lung of the province, with a mangrove ecosystem, rich and diverse flora and fauna; fresh climate and the pristine and peaceful Hon Khoai island cluster; river life culture imbued with the identity of the Southern region expressed through lifestyle, housing architecture, traditional crafts and culinary culture.
With Ca Mau tourism, in 2024, the industry strives to welcome more than 2.3 million tourists; total revenue of 3,480 billion VND.
By the end of September, the province had welcomed nearly 1.7 million visitors for sightseeing, tourism, and relaxation, reaching more than 70% of the 2024 plan; total revenue was more than VND 2,400 billion, an increase of more than 6.5% over the same period in 2023.
Currently, Ca Mau province has 84 tourist accommodation establishments with nearly 2,700 rooms (of which 15 establishments are rated from 1 to 5 stars, with 947 rooms and 41 establishments are recognized as qualified to serve tourists, with 940 rooms).
The province has 34 community tourism areas, spots and households, 2 areas recognized as provincial-level tourist areas; 10 businesses operating tourism activities (including 6 domestic travel companies, 1 international travel company with business licenses; 1 representative office; 2 branches).
In the coming time, Ca Mau plans to better exploit tourism resources in the direction of green tourism; increase the attractiveness of tourism products. In addition, strengthen the organization of events and activities to stimulate tourism; continue to improve the quality of service in a professional manner.
