Dak Nong - During the war to protect the southwestern border, the Bu Prang Border Post area in Tuy Duc district, Dak Nong province is where officers and soldiers fought steadfastly in 127 battles, firmly protecting every inch of the sacred land of the Fatherland. This area has now been ranked as a provincial-level relic.

On March 14, at Bu Prang border gate border post, Tuy Duc district, Dak Nong province solemnly held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of ranking as a provincial-level relic in the Bu Prang border post area.

After the great victory in the spring of 1975, the South was completely liberated and the country was unified in terms of territory. However, the political and social security situation of Dak Nong province in particular and the provinces on the southwestern border still faced many difficulties and challenges.

To serve the task of protecting border security and sovereignty , on May 20, 1975, Bu Prang Armed People's Police Station (the predecessor of Bu Prang Border Guard Station) was established, with an initial force of 32 armed police officers and soldiers sent from Son La province.

At that time, the station was assigned the task of managing and protecting the national border security and sovereignty with a 16.5km long border section, belonging to Quang Truc commune (Dak R'lap district, old Dak Lak province), now Tuy Duc district (Dak Nong), bordering Mondulkiri province, Kingdom of Cambodia.

During the war to protect the southwestern border, officers and soldiers fought steadfastly in 127 battles, firmly protecting every inch of the sacred land of the Fatherland. With these feats, on November 6, 1978, Bu Prang People's Armed Police Station was honored by the State with the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.

Currently, the Bu Prang Border Post area is ranked as a provincial-level relic, which is necessary to protect and promote the value of the relic, serve the development of local tourism; at the same time, it is a place to educate the tradition of revolutionary history for today's and future generations.
