Continuing the 9th Session, on the morning of June 25, the National Assembly voted to pass the Law on Inspection (amended).

The draft Law on Inspection (amended) amends and supplements regulations related to the arrangement of a streamlined, strong, efficient, effective, and efficient system of inspection agencies, and overcomes shortcomings, overlaps, and duplications in the organization and operation of inspection in recent times.

The draft law amends, supplements and perfects regulations related to the arrangement of a streamlined, strong, efficient, effective and efficient inspection agency system and overcomes shortcomings, limitations, overlaps and duplications in the organization and inspection activities of recent times.

Accordingly, all regulations on ministerial inspectors, general department inspectors, departments under ministries, inspection agencies in government agencies, district inspectors, department inspectors, agencies assigned to perform specialized inspection functions; persons assigned to perform specialized inspection tasks, procedures for conducting a specialized inspection, organization and operation of internal inspection, etc. are completely abolished.

Specifically, the proposed system of inspection sectors after the arrangement in the draft includes: Government Inspectorate ; Inspectorates of provinces and centrally-run cities; Inspection agencies in the People's Army, People's Public Security, State Bank of Vietnam; Cryptographic Inspectorate; inspection agencies established under international treaties to which the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a member (Inspector of the Department of Radiation and Nuclear Safety; Inspectorate of the Vietnam Maritime Administration; Inspectorate of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam; Inspectorate of the State Securities Commission).

At the working session on the morning of June 25, the National Assembly voted to pass the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Civil Procedure Code, the Administrative Procedure Law, the Juvenile Justice Law, the Bankruptcy Law and the Law on Mediation and Dialogue at Court.

The National Assembly voted to pass the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Penal Code.

The National Assembly voted to pass the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents.

The National Assembly voted to pass the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations.

The National Assembly voted to pass the Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Internal Regulations of the National Assembly session issued together with Resolution No. 71/2022/QH15 of the National Assembly.

The National Assembly voted to pass the State Budget Law (amended).

The National Assembly voted to pass the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Bidding; Law on Investment under the public-private partnership model; Law on Customs; Law on Export Tax and Import Tax; Law on Investment; Law on Public Investment; Law on Management and Use of Public Assets.

The National Assembly voted to pass the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Credit Institutions.

After the above contents, the National Assembly meets separately. The National Assembly Standing Committee reports to the National Assembly on the explanation and acceptance of opinions of National Assembly deputies discussed at the National Assembly delegation on organizational and personnel work under its authority.

The National Assembly establishes a Counting Committee (the Counting Committee continues to work in subsequent voting). The National Assembly decides on personnel matters within its jurisdiction by secret ballot.
