Khuat Van Khang receives a special award.

This award is particularly significant as only the 10 most outstanding individuals were selected from a total of approximately 70,000 Viettel employees worldwide.

At the Viettel Group headquarters on May 29th, midfielder Khuất Văn Khang received the Viettel's Stars 2025 award in the presence of his family.

For a player like Van Khang, who came through the Viettel youth academy, this moment is not only a recognition of his professional skills but also a memorable milestone in his more than 10-year journey in football.

Mr. Khuat Van Dau, father of Khuat Van Khang, could not hide his emotion when witnessing his son being honored. He shared that the family had sent Khang to learn football at the Viettel training center since he was only 10 years old, and now the "sweet fruits" of their labor are finally coming after many years of perseverance.

Viettel's Stars is an annual event organized by Viettel Group to recognize and honor teams and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to overall development.

The individuals honored by Viettel Group are those who have made outstanding contributions, demonstrating resilience, perseverance, and creating practical value in their respective fields.

For midfielder Khuất Văn Khang, this award comes after a period of outstanding performance at both club and national team levels.

The player from The Cong Viettel boasts an exceptional record with two Southeast Asian U23 Championship titles, the AFF Cup, the SEA Games, participation in the Asian Cup, ASIAD, Asian Cup qualifiers, and served as captain of the Vietnam U23 team at the AFC U23 Championship finals.

At the AFF Cup held in early 2025, he contributed 2 goals and 3 assists, and was a key factor in the victory against Thailand in the final.

In the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Khuat Van Khang played consistently on the left flank and was the young player with the most playing time. Wearing the Vietnam U23 jersey, he was considered the "heart" of the team's play and was included in the tournament's ideal team.

At the 2026 AFC U23 Asian Championship finals, Khuất Văn Khang wore the captain's armband, leading the Vietnam U23 team to victory over strong opponents such as Kyrgyzstan and Jordan, securing third place in the continent. He was also a key player in the team's journey to winning the gold medal in men's football at the 33rd SEA Games.

At the club level, Khuất Văn Khang played regularly in the V-League for four consecutive seasons and became a key player for Thể Công Viettel.

If we consider only 2025, Khuat Van Khang will have played over 2,200 minutes in all competitions, scoring 6 goals and providing 9 assists.

In the 2025-2026 V-League season, he continued to make a significant contribution to the success of The Cong Viettel and was rated by Sofascore as one of the best players in the league.

For his outstanding contributions, Khuất Văn Khang received commendations from the Prime Minister and the Minister of National Defense .
