The most common method of fraud today is for subjects to impersonate agents, create their own websites, social networking sites, with links and designs similar to those of official companies or agents, then advertise very attractive prices compared to the general level to attract customers. If customers contact, the subjects will make a reservation, send customers the reservation code as a guarantee and request a payment transfer.

After receiving payment, the subject did not issue a ticket and cut off contact. Because the booking code had not been issued to the airline ticket, it would automatically cancel after a while and the customer would only know about this when they arrived at the airport.

To avoid being tricked into buying fake tickets, especially during peak travel periods such as April 30, May 1, summer vacations, holidays, and Tet, authorities and airlines recommend that passengers buy tickets on the airlines' official channels and get receipts and invoices when buying tickets to protect their rights.

Previously, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam sent a document to Vietnamese airlines requesting consideration of increasing flights on routes from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City during the Hung Kings' death anniversary and the April 30 - May 1 holidays.

Accordingly, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam said that according to data reported by Vietnamese airlines, during the two peak days of April 28 and 29, the total number of seats provided to the market on flights from Hanoi to key tourist destinations such as Nha Trang, Da Nang, Hue, Da Lat, Phu Quoc, Tuy Hoa, Quy Nhon, Dong Hoi was about 41 thousand seats.

On April 29, the occupancy rate was especially high, with the Hanoi - Hue route reaching 100%, Hanoi - Tuy Hoa reaching 93%, Hanoi - Dong Hoi/Quy Nhon both reaching over 96%...

Similarly, on April 29, the number of bookings for tourist flights from Ho Chi Minh City to the above mentioned key tourist destinations was also high, with a total of about 40,000 seats offered. The occupancy rate on routes such as Ho Chi Minh City - Quy Nhon/Phu Quoc/Tuy Hoa were all over 80%.

In the opposite direction, flights to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City also had high booking rates during peak days on May 2 and 3. Some routes from Phu Quoc, Quy Nhon, Hue, Tuy Hoa to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City all reached over 80%.

In the face of the above situation, in order to strengthen solutions to better serve people's travel needs, ensure order and traffic safety during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the April 30 - May 1 holidays, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam requests airlines to consider increasing flights on routes from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to destinations with high tourism demand such as Phu Quoc, Tuy Hoa, Binh Dinh, Cam Ranh, Con Dao, etc., especially on April 28 - 29 and May 2 - 3.
