Checking and evaluating the implementation results of National Target Program 1719 in Nghe An

The working delegation of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities was led by Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities Y Vinh Tor, along with representatives from the National Target Program Coordination Office, the Department of Ethnic Minorities, and Ethnic Policy. The inspected units of Nghe An province included: Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, with representatives of local leaders and related departments and offices.

During the period from August 26 to 29, the Working Group of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities inspected and evaluated the implementation results of the National Target Program 1719, focusing on a number of contents on the implementation status of Resolution 111/2024/QH15 dated January 18, 2024 of the National Assembly ; implementation results, disbursement progress up to July 31, 2024, and new difficulties and problems arising in the implementation process.

In addition, the Delegation also inspected and grasped the situation of ethnic minority areas, carried out ethnic work in 2024; focused on a number of contents such as the results of organizing the Ethnic Minority Congress in the locality; assessed the situation of organizing and implementing policies for Prestigious People.

According to the plan, after the field trip, the working group of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities will work with Nghe An province on the following contents: Evaluation of the implementation results of the National Target Program 1719; focusing on a number of contents on the implementation status of Resolution 111/2024/QH15 dated January 18, 2024 of the National Assembly, implementation results, disbursement progress up to July 31, 2024, new difficulties and problems arising in the implementation process.

The inspection and evaluation of the implementation results of the National Target Program 1719 will be meaningful in both urging the grassroots to speed up progress and reminding the localities and units of limitations, shortcomings and weaknesses (if any) in performing their tasks.
