On the morning of May 25, under the chairmanship of Comrade Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Cyber Security and Safety Subcommittee, the Subcommittee held a 2023 member meeting to evaluate the results of work in 2022, deploy directions and tasks for 2023; and announce the decision to complete the members of the Subcommittee and the Subcommittee's Working Group.

In 2022, closely following the direction of the superiors, the Provincial Cyber Security and Safety Subcommittee proactively advised on the effective implementation of all aspects of work; improving the effectiveness and efficiency of State management of cyber security, strengthening coordination between functional forces in protecting cyber security; the fight against bad and toxic information on the internet has gradually achieved good results; the work of preventing and combating high-tech crimes and crimes using cyberspace to violate social order and safety has achieved positive results...
Members of the Subcommittee and the Subcommittee Working Group focused on discussing, contributing ideas, and proposing many solutions to advise and effectively implement assigned tasks.
The meeting announced the decision to complete the membership of the Provincial Cyber Security and Safety Subcommittee and the Subcommittee's Working Group.
Comrade Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Cyber Security and Safety Subcommittee, requested that in the coming time, Party committees, heads of agencies, departments, branches and localities in the province, on the basis of assigned functions and tasks, continue to thoroughly implement the guidelines, policies and laws of the Party and State, programs and plans of the Provincial People's Committee related to ensuring cyber security and safety; promote political and ideological education, raise awareness, political capacity, vigilance against plots and tricks of hostile forces; actively participate in the fight against and refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints; do not post, share or write articles and comments in support of information contrary to viewpoints and policies or information with bad, harmful, untrue content that has not been verified or verified; Proactively research and deploy solutions to ensure network safety and security for information systems of agencies and management units. Strengthen coordination to provide timely information to the press, ensure accurate, fast and complete information; correct inaccurate and untrue information, not allowing opportunistic elements to take advantage of distortion and sabotage.
Assign the Provincial Police to continue to perform well the functions of the standing agency of the Subcommittee, proactively grasp, analyze, evaluate, and closely forecast the situation in cyberspace; promptly detect, combat, and neutralize plots and activities using cyberspace to infringe upon national security, protect the Party's ideological foundation, combat and prevent malicious information; protect network security, promptly detect and prevent foreign cyber attacks and cyber espionage activities aimed at important information systems of the Party and State.
The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department strengthens the work of advising, guiding, and directing the implementation of information, propaganda, and combating and refuting wrong and hostile views in cyberspace; propagating the Law on Cyber Security and preventing and combating violations of the law in cyberspace and high-tech crimes. The Department of Information and Communications strengthens guidance and implementation of measures to ensure the safety of important information systems of the province, agencies, departments, branches, and localities; handles violations of the law in the management, provision, and use of internet services and information on the network; organizes training and fostering to improve the qualifications of the force protecting the security of information systems of agencies, departments, branches, and localities in the province. The Provincial Military Command presides over and coordinates with relevant units to perform according to its functions and tasks in protecting the Fatherland in cyberspace, promoting the core role in building the all-people national defense posture in cyberspace.
Telecommunications companies strengthen the management of subscribers and phone SIM cards to limit the conditions for criminal activities, and at the same time, actively coordinate with the police force in preventing, fighting and handling crimes and violations of the law.
