The Border Guard Station at Hon Gai port successfully rescued a fishing boat and 3 fishermen in distress at sea.

At 11:58 a.m. on August 21, while purchasing seafood in the Dau B area, in the waters of Quang Ninh , a wooden-hulled, unlicensed boat, captained by Do Van Hung (born in 1976, residing in Ha Tu ward), suddenly encountered big waves, causing the boat to lose control and capsize. At the time of the accident, there were two crew members on board, Do Van Manh (born in 1991) and Do Tuan Hung (born in 2009), both residing at the above address.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Border Guard Station of Hon Gai Port sent a boat, along with 5 officers and soldiers, to quickly move to the scene to rescue. At 13:00, the unit's forces coordinated with fishing boat QN-40247.TS, captained by Mr. Pham Van Cuong (born in 1984, residing in Ha Long Ward) and another crew member to safely rescue all 3 people in distress.

The crew members were then taken to a safe place in Cua Van fishing village for examination and health care. Currently, the health of the 3 fishermen is stable.
