Quang Ninh Culinary Festival - A destination for culinary quintessence

Quang Ninh Culinary Festival 2025 with the theme "Quang Ninh - Destination of Culinary Quintessence" will take place at Sun Carnival Square, Ha Long Street, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City from October 30 to November 2.

This is the 5th time Quang Ninh province has organized the annual Food Festival. The event is organized by the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism to promote tourism and honor the unique culinary culture of the locality. The event is expected to attract about 30-50 thousand visitors.

The festival is held to honor and promote the traditional and modern culinary values of Quang Ninh and other regions across the country, contributing to preserving the cultural identity of Vietnamese cuisine. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for chefs, artisans, domestic and foreign businesses to meet, share experiences, expand cooperation, and affirm the potential for developing local culinary tourism .

With a scale of about 200 booths, the Festival is divided into three main areas: the international booth with about 50 booths; the Vietnamese booth recreating the culinary space of the North-Central-South with about 50 booths and the Quang Ninh culinary space with about 100 booths, focusing on introducing the culinary specialties of the coastal and mountainous regions, bringing a space for convergence, exchange and colorful culinary experiences.

Within the framework of the event, visitors will have the opportunity to explore famous specialties of Quang Ninh, seafood from the Gulf and many unique products from other regions.

The highlights of the Festival are food preparation demonstrations, culinary competitions, cocktail mixing performances using local ingredients, free workshops: learning to make squid rolls, nodding cakes, sour spring rolls, spring rolls, banh chung..., creative culinary art exhibitions, and many exchange programs and seminars on developing culinary tourism. Along with that are art performances and street festivals, contributing to creating a vibrant and attractive atmosphere for locals and tourists.

Through the application of virtual reality technology (VR/AR), visitors will be able to explore the raw material areas of Quang Ninh province.

The new and unique feature of this year's event is the international culinary area with the presence of the world's leading hotels, restaurants and service points, promising to bring a classy, rich and new culinary service experience, creating a multicultural culinary space.

Quang Ninh Culinary Festival 2025 promises to become a typical cultural-tourism event, a place where culinary quintessence of regions converges to honor and promote traditional and modern culinary values of Quang Ninh and regions across the country, contributing to preserving the cultural identity of Vietnamese cuisine./.
