Fire at a coffee shop in a residential area was extinguished promptly.

(CTO) - On the evening of January 9th, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Can Tho City Police announced that they had promptly extinguished a fire that occurred at a resident's house in Company Area 8, Street 13, Hung Phu Residential Area.

The fire sent thick smoke rising into the air, clearly visible from a distance.

According to initial information, at 7:51 PM on January 9th, upon receiving a report from residents about a house fire in Company Area 8, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the city dispatched 6 vehicles and approximately 30 officers and soldiers to quickly extinguish the fire.

According to observations at the scene, the fire originated from a prefabricated building. Because it was a coffee shop with a mezzanine and thatched roof, the fire burned fiercely, with smoke rising dozens of meters high, clearly visible from a distance.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force of the city's Public Security Department, in coordination with local forces, implemented firefighting measures.

By 9:30 PM the same day, the fire was extinguished, and there were no casualties. The cause of the fire and the extent of property damage are currently being investigated and assessed.
