On the evening of May 30, 2026, while on duty at the Nguyen Xien - Nguyen Trai intersection, a task force from Traffic Police Team No. 7, Hanoi City Police Department, promptly assisted and cleared the way to take a 22-month-old child who had choked on a foreign object to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Accordingly, at approximately 9 PM on the same day, the task force received an urgent request for assistance from a couple traveling by taxi, reporting that their 22-month-old child had accidentally swallowed a foreign object, which was stuck in the throat, and they needed to be quickly taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Recognizing the emergency situation, the task force reported to the Team Command and quickly used specialized motorcycles to escort the taxi carrying the child to the National Children's Hospital.
With the assistance of traffic police, the vehicle carrying the child was able to navigate smoothly through busy roads, reaching the hospital in the shortest possible time. Immediately upon arrival, doctors promptly examined, intervened, and successfully removed the foreign object from the child's throat. The child is now out of danger, in stable condition, and continues to be monitored and treated at the hospital.
The timely and responsible actions of the task force of Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 not only contributed to ensuring traffic order and safety but also demonstrated a spirit of serving the people and being ready to assist citizens in emergency situations.
