Previously, at 10pm on April 3, Thinh Liet Ward Police received a report from Mr. N's family (born in 1963, permanent residence: Thinh Liet, Hoang Mai) about Mr. N running away from home and leaving a suicide note. Upon receiving the information, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hoai Nam, Deputy Chief of Ward Police, directed the officers on duty to conduct a search and assist the family in searching for him, avoiding any possible bad situations.
Thinh Liet ward police promptly encouraged people to give up suicidal thoughts.
After checking, at 11:30 p.m. the same day, after a period of searching, the working group found Mr. N in the Linh Nam street area. Through discussion, Mr. N said he was on his way to Thanh Tri bridge to commit suicide. The ward police officers encouraged and persuaded Mr. N to give up his intention of committing suicide and took him to the headquarters, at the same time notifying his family to come and pick him up.
