On February 22, Khanh Hoa Radio and Television Station (KTV) issued a plan to organize the contest "Best Host about Nha Trang" in 2024. This is an activity to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the construction and development of Nha Trang city (1924 - 2024), 15 years of being recognized as a type 1 urban area (2009 - 2024).
The contest will start accepting applications from February 25 to March 18 and will take place from March 25 to 29. Contestants aged 18 to 40, who are editors, reporters, presenters, journalists working at local radio and television centers or stations nationwide can submit their applications. The contest includes a preliminary round; a final round live at KTV studio; a final round live on all channels and KTV's Fanpage. In addition, there are activities and sub-competitions to learn about Nha Trang; the most impressive media products about Nha Trang. Contestants who make it to the preliminary and final rounds will be supported by the Organizing Committee to have the opportunity to meet with Nha Trang culture researchers; scientists , and marine experts to learn more about the sea and islands to help contestants complete their contest.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee will award 1 First Prize worth 20 million VND; in addition, there will be 1 Second Prize, 2 Third Prizes, 4 Consolation Prizes and 2 additional prizes.
