BHG - On the morning of May 9, the Management Board of Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark signed a memorandum of understanding with the Management Board of Du Gia National Park.
In order to promote coordination in implementing similar tasks in managing, protecting, preserving and developing the two areas managed by both sides, the two Management Boards agreed to cooperate in implementing tasks in raising public awareness, developing tourism , zoning heritage protection, developing partners, and promoting each other through the communication channels of the two units.

During the 5-year cooperation period, the two sides will organize research activities, search for some models of National Parks and heritage sites with similar characteristics to survey, learn from experiences, request support to build models and tourism products, increase the number of visitors, organize scientific research activities, rescue animals and plants, educational communication... at Du Gia National Park.
The Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark Management Board coordinates and supports the survey and construction of 1-2 tourist routes to explore the National Park according to UNESCO's sustainable tourism standards; consults with experts from the UNESCO Global Geopark Network and domestic vertical agencies on programs, plans, and projects that the two sides plan to implement...
Du Gia National Park has a part of its area within the Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark. Therefore, the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the two management boards will bring positive effects in the management, operation and exploitation of potential values to serve the development of local tourism economy.
