(NLĐO) – The school's disciplinary council has imposed strict disciplinary measures on two students who assaulted a classmate, resulting in hospitalization in Quang Binh .
Bac Son Junior and Senior High School
On December 14th, Mr. Tran Xuan Bach, Principal of Bac Son Secondary and High School in Tuyen Hoa district, Quang Binh province, announced that the school's disciplinary committee had decided on disciplinary measures for the two students involved in assaulting a classmate, resulting in the latter being hospitalized.
These two male students are MTQ (class 11.2) and PTT (class 11.4) – Bac Son Secondary and High School.
According to Mr. Bach, the school's disciplinary committee decided to suspend the two male students for one week, starting from December 16, 2024. In addition, the school also gave the two students a poor conduct grade for the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year and required them to apologize to the student who was assaulted.
"This is a strict disciplinary measure aimed at correcting discipline within the school. In the future, the school will strengthen supervision and ensure that similar situations do not recur," Mr. Bach emphasized.
As reported by Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper, on October 3rd, during recess, while student BVK (class 11.2, Bac Son Secondary and High School) was sitting in the classroom, he was suddenly attacked by two male students, MTQ and PTT, who beat him severely.
According to Bui Thi Thanh Ha (the older sister of student K.), after being taken to the Huong Khe District Health Center (Ha Tinh province), K. was diagnosed with "different injuries affecting multiple areas of the body." After a period of hospitalization and treatment, K. was discharged and returned to school. However, during her studies, she continuously experienced headaches, dizziness, and nausea. The family had to take her to the commune's health station for examination.
Ms. Ha also said that during her time at school, K. was repeatedly threatened with physical abuse, which made her consider dropping out. However, her family encouraged her to continue attending school.
