After 30 years of building and developing, Vietnam Family has strived to overcome challenges, gradually affirming its position and brand and creating a deep impression in the hearts of readers.
Attending the ceremony, comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association commented: "Following the Vietnam Family Magazine in recent years, it can be seen that the magazine has constantly innovated, created, improved the quality of human resources, promoted the application of technology, promoted digital transformation of journalism to keep up with modern journalism and media trends".
The magazine's content still maintains its identity, closely follows the purpose and objectives, and serves well the task of promoting the activities of the Vietnam Family Planning Association. At the same time, the information is quite comprehensive, focusing on issues related to Vietnamese families, especially the issue of building happy families, cultural families, providing skills and knowledge on family health care, smart consumption, etc.
Chairman of the Vietnam Family Planning Association Pham Ba Nhat expressed his hope that the team of reporters and editors of the Vietnam Family Magazine will make more efforts to continue producing quality press products, contributing to the propaganda work of the Vietnam Family Planning Association.
From those solid foundations, the magazine will continue to promote the achieved tradition, constantly improve the quality of content and form, cultivate professional skills and build a team in the spirit of being lean, compact, strong and effective; closely following the principles and goals. At the same time, actively participate in social activities, together with the governing body, all levels and sectors join hands to build a prosperous and happy family.

According to Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Family Magazine Ho Minh Chien, the anniversary is an event of great significance to generations of journalists of Vietnam Family Magazine, marking the maturity and growth of a press agency that has been persistently, tirelessly, and steadfastly serving readers for three decades, as well as accompanying, honoring, and spreading the values of Vietnamese families.
Exactly 30 years ago, Family Magazine was born with the mission of propagating policies on population and family planning, disseminating knowledge of reproductive health care, and contributing to building happy families.
After 4 years of development, in 1999, the magazine made a breakthrough with the publication "Happy Family" when it was widely distributed throughout the country, becoming a companion of Vietnamese families.
In 2011, the magazine was upgraded to Vietnam Family Newspaper and developed in both print and electronic versions, actively contributing to the development of the country's press.
In 2020, Vietnam Family Newspaper became Vietnam Family Magazine with many fundamental innovations.
"From an initial publication called Gia Dinh, which mainly informed about the activities of the Vietnam Family Planning Association, the magazine has gradually developed, grown, expanded its scale and scope of activities, and increasingly specialized and specialized in issues related to family, healthcare , health, consumption, culture, society...", Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Family Magazine Ho Minh Chien shared.
In addition to successfully organizing outstanding programs such as "Family Memories - Lighting the Future", "Women Overcoming Fate", "Father and Daughter" Writing Contest, Vietnam Family Magazine also made its mark with the National Press Agency Football Tournament - Press Cup. Currently, Vietnam Family Magazine owns 2 printed publications: Vietnam Family Magazine published monthly and Little Sun (for ages 6-12). Along with that is the Vietnam Family Magazine e-page (giadinhonline.vn) and 3 electronic pages (Women's Health, Consumer, Western Life).
The magazine is also present on social media channels to effectively promote propaganda work, expand information about cultural and social life, and increase opportunities for readers to access more diverse news about life and family.
