High School Graduation Exam 2025: Exam questions will be changed to A3 paper size

The Ministry of Education and Training said that from 2025, the High School Graduation exam will be printed on A3 paper size instead of A4 size like previous years, to facilitate printing and reduce the risk of missing pages.

On the morning of May 27, at the training conference on inspection and examination of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in Hanoi, many important information related to the exam was announced.

Professor Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management ( Ministry of Education and Training ), said that from 2025, the High School Graduation exam will be printed on A3 paper size instead of A4 as in previous years. According to Mr. Chuong, using A4 size makes an exam usually have 4 to 5 pages, causing difficulties in printing and potentially running out of pages. Switching to A3 size is expected to help reduce the number of printed pages, thereby limiting errors and increasing safety in exam preparation.

The 2025 High School Graduation Exam is scheduled to take place on June 26 and 27. This is the first year that the new 2018 generaleducation program will be applied in the graduation exam. In order to ensure fairness for candidates studying under the 2006 general education program, the Ministry of Education and Training will organize two separate sets of exam questions for two groups of candidates following two different programs. Candidates studying under the 2006 program will take the exam at separate testing locations.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, this year's exam recorded more than 1.16 million candidates registered for the exam, an increase of about 100,000 students compared to 2024. Of these, about 25,000 candidates took the exam according to the 2006 general education program.

The 2025 High School Graduation Exam is considered an important milestone, marking the transition between two educational programs, requiring serious, strict and synchronous organization to ensure the rights of all candidates.
