Throughout the country, from key construction sites and bustling industrial zones to lush green fields, a vibrant atmosphere of work permeates the air from the very first day of the new year. Everyone shares a common heartbeat and belief in a year of strong breakthroughs in 2026, realizing the aspirations of our homeland to flourish.

Eat on the go, sleep briefly, stay at the construction site.

At the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway project site, the engines of bulldozers and rollers, along with the rhythmic pounding of pile drivers, resound. Sun-tanned faces and sweat-soaked protective gear, despite the cold weather, are the clearest evidence of the tireless work ethic of the engineers and construction workers.

Workers at MSA-YB Co., Ltd. started working diligently right from the first day of the new year.

Mr. Vu Ngoc Oanh, the project manager for package 19 (Truong Son Joint Stock Company), shared: "In 2025, unfavorable weather conditions and heavy rain affected the construction progress. Currently, the dry weather is very favorable for accelerating progress. The workers and engineers have decided to 'eat quickly, sleep urgently, and stay on the construction site,' working throughout the Tet holiday to ensure the set schedule is met."

Keeping its promise regarding the progress, Truong Son Joint Stock Company mobilized a total of 241 vehicles and nearly 300 engineers and workers, simultaneously deploying 17 construction teams. Site commander Vu Ngoc Oanh confidently stated: "Our goal is to successfully asphalt at least the first 10 km of road in the first week of 2026. According to the plan, by May 19th, 2026, President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the entire package from Km0+00 to Km23+00 will be asphalted, ensuring the road is open for operation as scheduled."

Not far away, at packages 21, 24… the roar of excavators blends with the rhythmic pounding of pile drivers, creating a symphony of construction. The spirit of "three shifts, four teams," "overcoming sun and rain, not giving up in the cold" is consistently upheld to weave the shape of the highway in the near future.

As of January 1, 2026, the total construction value of the project has reached 56.1%, on schedule and creating a positive momentum for the final stretch ahead.

The enthusiastic atmosphere of labor is not limited to just one project; several other projects—the renovation and upgrading of the revolutionary road from Tan Trao commune to Trung Yen commune; the preservation and restoration of the National Assembly Standing Committee historical site in Tan Trao commune; the investment and construction of infrastructure for the Xuan Van industrial cluster; and the Tuyen Quang biomass power project—which were all launched on December 19th to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress, are also undergoing a strong transformation, creating a vibrant and colorful construction site of renewal.

The atmosphere of competitive labor also spread to the production workshops. At MSA-YB Co., Ltd. (Long Binh An Industrial Park), trucks lined up and operated throughout the Tet holiday. Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy, Head of Planning and Human Resources, excitedly shared: "Right on the first day of the year, the company received a 'big windfall' with export orders to Europe and the US extending until the end of the first quarter of 2026. This is an extremely positive sign, signaling a breakthrough year in revenue."

On the modern garment production line, Ms. Hoang Thi Lanh (worker on line 3) excitedly said while quickly threading the needle: "On the first day of work in the new year, we received good news with many orders and stable jobs. Everyone is encouraging themselves to speed up right from the first shift to help the company break through."
From the highlands of the far north to the southern districts of the province, farmers are bustling with activity as they head to the fields to "inaugurate" the harvest. Mr. Duong The Tuong, from Phu Da village, Truong Sinh commune, excitedly shared: "After harvesting the winter crop, my family hired machinery to prepare the land in advance. By preparing the land early, when the water arrives, we only need to loosen the soil before planting the spring crop, avoiding the situation where machinery rental services are scarce during the planting season and we have to wait." Mr. Tuong hopes that this proactive approach to production will surely lead to a smooth and bountiful harvest.

When belief is transformed into action.

The hustle and bustle of New Year's Day is not simply a return to daily routines, but rather an expression of a great aspiration: the aspiration to reach new heights.

People in Chi village, Xuan Giang commune, are preparing the land for spring planting.

From dusty construction sites to modern factories and fields, everywhere there is a spirit of enthusiastic, persistent, and unwavering work, a willingness to overcome difficulties and hardships, and a commitment to action without hesitation. Every meter of road paved, every order signed, and every seedling sown carries the trust of the people and businesses in the close supervision of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee.

This unity is the most valuable "fuel" for the smooth operation of the economic engine. With such an enthusiastic start, we have every right to be confident in a brilliant 2026. A year where growth indicators are not just numbers on a chart, but a tangible source of prosperity in every home, and where the position of Tuyen Quang province is increasingly firmly established.
