From the beginning of 2025 to mid-May 2026, border guards handled 130 smuggling cases, 24 drug cases, 575 cases related to illegal entry and exit, and numerous violations of illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing. These figures not only reflect the effectiveness of the fight against crime but also demonstrate a shift in the legal awareness of people in border areas. By staying close to the people, bringing the law to every locality and every household, these border guards are contributing to building a "steel shield" in the southwestern border region of the Fatherland.
