Lai Chau: Training to foster skills and professional work of the Youth Union in 2025

Attending the training course were comrades: Be Thi Bang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council; comrade Luu Quang Vinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers; 150 trainees who are leaders and officials of the affiliated Youth Unions; Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of the Youth Unions of communes and wards; officials planning for the positions of Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Youth Unions of communes and wards; officials concurrently holding the work of the grassroots Youth Union and Secretaries of the grassroots Youth Union.

Speaking at the opening of the training course, comrade Vu Thi Mai Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Provincial Vietnam Youth Union emphasized: The training course aims to foster and update knowledge, skills, expertise, and working methods for Youth Union cadres at all levels, especially at the commune and ward levels; contributing to building a team of Youth Union cadres with political courage, good professional expertise, and good organization and implementation of the Youth Union work program and youth and children's movements in the new period.

For the training course to be effective, the Provincial Youth Union Secretary suggested that the trainees focus on fully absorbing the topics, boldly discuss and give feedback to the lecturers on the content that is still stuck in the practical work in the locality; proactively take notes, discuss in groups, share experiences, learn from each other, so that after the training course, they can flexibly and creatively apply the content they have been trained to their actual work. He hopes that, in addition to providing theoretical knowledge, the lecturers will also share practical experiences, good models, and effective methods from the grassroots; link the teaching content with the actual situation of the localities, especially the communes after the merger, mountainous areas, remote areas, and border areas, helping the trainees to easily apply and deploy it into the actual work of the Youth Union.

Comrade Hoang Thi Thuan - Deputy Head of the Youth Union and Children's Affairs Department (Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province) presented the topic content at the training course.

At the training course, trainees were trained in the following contents: New issues to note regarding the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement, especially the policy of reorganizing the apparatus in the current period; skills in applying technology, digital transformation, artificial intelligence in implementing the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in the current period; information on the situation of protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the current period; instructions on writing political articles for the Political Contest to Protect the Party's Ideological Foundation in 2025; professional work of inspection, supervision, and social criticism of the Youth Union; skills in organizing movement activities of the Youth Union; general knowledge about startups and methods of forming startup ideas, innovative startups; necessary factors when starting a business and innovative startups suitable for the current situation; visiting and studying economic development models of youth; Skills in using digital transformation applications in businesses: Sales website, electronic invoices, digital signatures, customer care call center, online working software...

According to the Plan, the training course is expected to end on October 19.
