On the evening of December 2nd, in Hoa Lac village, Quang Lap commune, Lam Dong province, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security, held a ceremony to launch the "Quang Trung Campaign" to build houses for households whose homes were completely destroyed or collapsed due to natural disasters in the province.
Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were: Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee; Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security; and representatives from various departments, agencies, and localities.

Accordingly, the first three families to receive support for house construction in the "Quang Trung Campaign" are: Nguyen Van Minh, Ho Tan Thanh, and Kieu Dang Khoa. During the recent floods, these families had their houses destroyed, their property and crops damaged, and they currently lack stable housing.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, affirmed that the "Quang Trung Campaign" is a major campaign with profound humanitarian significance, launched by the Prime Minister and supported by the Ministry of Public Security.

The "Quang Trung Campaign" was launched by the Ministry of Public Security with the requirement of urgency, creativity, and effectiveness. The goal was not only to rebuild new homes, but also to restore faith, peace, and hope for the people.
The spirit of "speed, decisiveness, and putting the people's interests first" has been clearly demonstrated by units within the Lam Dong Provincial Police, with a determination to complete new houses for the households as soon as possible.

"Each house is not only a heartfelt gift but also a responsibility of the police force towards the people, helping them feel secure and quickly stabilize their lives after the natural disaster," Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen shared.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized that these are the first houses in the province to be built after the historic floods that occurred on November 19th. Although facing immense losses and damage, the people must strive to recover and gradually stabilize their lives.

“These are houses built out of compassion and in a timely manner. To provide complete housing for the people, many steps must be taken, from procedures, paperwork, legal matters to land… Despite this, Lam Dong is determined to have new houses for those whose homes collapsed before January 15, 2026, and to complete repairs for families whose houses were damaged before December 20, 2025,” emphasized Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that departments, agencies, and armed forces work alongside the people throughout the reconstruction process. The families themselves wholeheartedly supported the province's initiative. The commune authorities and neighbors joined forces to share the burden with the affected families.

“After the groundbreaking ceremony, tomorrow morning (December 3rd), the military and police forces must urgently gather vehicles, materials, and machinery. Everyone is determined to complete the “Quang Trung Campaign” in the four provinces of the South Central region as soon as possible. The provincial leaders deeply sympathize with the people and hope that the people will support and cooperate with the forces to quickly have new homes and gradually stabilize their lives after the storms and floods,” emphasized Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi.
During the recent floods, 229 houses in Lam Dong province were damaged. Of these, 23 houses completely collapsed and need to be rebuilt, and 206 houses were damaged and need repair.
In implementing the "Quang Trung Campaign" launched by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to rapidly rebuild and repair houses for families whose homes were damaged by recent natural disasters in the central provinces, Lam Dong province has agreed to provide support of 120 million VND per completely destroyed house and 20-40 million VND per damaged house.
