With the advantage of having traditional flower villages and early-developed agricultural tourism, many famous tourist destinations of Da Lat city in the past, Lam Vien ward - Da Lat, Lam Dong province determined to increase the mobilization of all resources to develop tourism - services, night-time economy .
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development", on the morning of July 24, Lam Vien Ward Party Committee - Da Lat successfully organized the 1st Ward Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of Wards 8, 9 and 12; has a natural area of over 35km2 , a population of over 71.3 thousand people, including more than 3,670 ethnic minorities.
Attending the congress were 240 delegates from 67 party organizations, representing 2,431 party members of the ward party committee.
The congress assessed that during the past term, tourism and service activities in the area had significant developments, the accommodation system was invested and upgraded, meeting the diverse accommodation needs of tourists, with 561 establishments in operation, including 22 hotels from 2 to 5 stars, and 111 tourist villas.
The locality encourages the development of diverse types of tourism and services associated with the development of traditional flower villages and famous tourist destinations in the area, such as the city flower garden, Valley of Love, XQ Da Lat Historical Site, Delight Park flower and art light park, Than Tho Lake, etc.
These locations contribute to extending the length of stay and attracting tourists, and are also the premise for expanding the development of new types of tourism, contributing greatly to the economic development of the locality.
Speaking at the congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province Pham Thi Phuc emphasized that in the next term, Lam Vien ward - Da Lat needs to have specific solutions to develop the economy in the right direction.
In particular, promoting strengths in tourism-services, cultural industry, having comprehensive development solutions in terms of scale, quality, diversifying tourism product chains; forming attractive tourism space chains to attract tourists, especially tourists on tours, routes, long-term stays; improving the quality of professional and high-quality accommodation, food, entertainment and recreation services.
In the coming term, Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat determined to increase investment attraction, mobilize all resources to develop service tourism, night economy ; focus on developing agricultural tourism, resort tourism, have solutions to exploit the value of traditional flower villages associated with developing tourism services; develop community agricultural tourism club model; pay attention to applying digital technology in the field of tourism services.
According to the decisions of the Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and related decisions, the Executive Committee of Lam Vien Ward-Da Lat Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term consists of 29 comrades; the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee has 9 comrades. Comrade Dang Quang Tu, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Lat City, was appointed as Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Lam Vien Ward-Da Lat; Comrade Nguyen Quang Hai holds the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee; Comrade Tran Thi Vu Loan holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.
