Lam Dong Province Department of Construction said that on the afternoon of November 25, vehicles were allowed to circulate again on Prenn Pass, except for trucks which will continue to be restricted to ensure safety during the construction period to fix the problem.
Lam Dong Department of Construction also recommends: Due to the complicated situation of rain and storms in the area, while construction units continue to repair the route; therefore, people should limit traffic through the pass at night or when it is foggy, and must drive slowly, comply with the sign system, traffic diversion plans and instructions of the authorities to avoid unfortunate incidents.
The Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Province Police is assigned to organize patrols, control, and ensure smooth and safe traffic during the construction and repair of the remaining items at Prenn Pass.

At 9:00 a.m. on November 17, at Prenn Pass, section Km 224+600 - Km 224+700 (about 100m long), a landslide occurred on the negative slope embankment, causing half of the roadbed from Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City to collapse.
