Lam Dong province is improving the quality of recruitment and conscription of citizens into the military.

On the afternoon of May 15th, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee held a conference to summarize the work of selecting and recruiting citizens for military service and participation in the People's Public Security Force in 2025. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, chaired the conference.

In 2025, Party committees and authorities at all levels in Lam Dong province paid attention to disseminating information and mobilizing the people to implement the Military Service Law; focusing on leading and directing the organization and implementation of the recruitment and conscription of citizens into the military, ensuring strictness, seriousness, and high responsibility.

The Military Service Councils at all levels have played their role and fulfilled their responsibilities in military recruitment; implemented policies supporting the military's rear areas, and achieved 100% of the assigned targets, with the technical and professional criteria increasing compared to 2024.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Phuc delivered a speech at the conference.

The Military Command at all levels has advised the People's Committees at the same level to implement the registration of military service in each commune, ward, town, high school, and continuing education center in the area.

The district-level health center organized training and guidance for grassroots health facilities to conduct preliminary health screenings for citizens in communes, wards, and towns. The commune-level Military Service Council organized public selection, soliciting opinions from the people in villages, residential areas, and mass organizations; prioritizing the selection of citizens with health categories I and II; good political and moral qualities; high educational levels (intermediate, college, and university); cadres, civil servants, children of cadres; and full Party members for conscription.

Awards were presented to organizations, individuals, and households that achieved outstanding results in the recruitment and conscription of citizens into the military in 2025.

The organization of the military training camp and the troop handover ceremony was thorough, efficient, and safe. The self-discipline and quality of the young men enlisting in the army are constantly improving.
