The event was attended by leaders of units under the Ministry, representatives of the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City Departments of Culture and Sports , along with more than 40 KOL management companies (MCNs) and major online content platforms and channels such as TikTok, Zalo, Tuyen Van Hoa, The Anh 28, Schannel, BeatVN, DatVietVAC, VCCorp...
This is the first time the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has organized a large-scale conference to directly connect with multi-channel network management companies and content creators, a force playing an increasingly important role in the national information ecosystem.
Speaking at the conference, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh emphasized that defining social media in political , economic, and social life is necessary, reflecting the spirit of partnership between the State and the creative community, jointly building a healthy and humane information environment.
According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh, social media has become a new pillar in the national cultural and information ecosystem, contributing to the dissemination of Vietnamese cultural values and people.
This event marks a significant turning point in This shifts the mindset of media management from a management model to one of partnership and guidance, from supervision to collaboration with social media forces, aiming to professionalize content creation and disseminate Vietnamese cultural and human values in the new era.
Many delegates attending the conference agreed that social media is not just a communication tool, but also an open cultural space where national identity, lifestyle, and emotions are recreated daily. When content creators focus on humanistic values, and when "influencers" become "spreaders of Vietnamese values," social media will become a strategic soft power for the nation.
According to Mr. Le Quang Tu Do, Director of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will maintain monthly information sessions, aiming to build a network of cooperation between management agencies, MCNs, and content creators, helping social media keep pace with mainstream journalism, while spreading positive values and a good image of the country.
This event also reflects efforts to establish a new connection mechanism between the State and social creative forces – a suitable direction in an era where a nation's "soft power" lies not only in policy, but also in its ability to spread Vietnamese emotions, images, and cultural values in the digital space, where national identity, lifestyle, language, and emotions are recreated and disseminated every day.
