The event was attended by leaders of units under the Ministry, representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, along with more than 40 KOLs management companies (MCNs) and major platforms and content channels on cyberspace such as TikTok, Zalo, Tuyen Van Hoa, The Anh 28, Schannel, BeatVN, DatVietVAC, VCCorp...
This is the first time the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has organized a large-scale conference to directly connect with multi-channel network management companies and content creators, a force that is playing an increasingly important role in the national information ecosystem.
Speaking at the conference, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh emphasized that identifying social media in political , economic and social life is necessary, demonstrating the spirit of companionship between the State and the creative community, together building a healthy and humane information environment.
Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh said that social media has become a new pillar in the national cultural and information ecosystem, contributing to spreading Vietnamese cultural values and people.
The event marked an important turning point in g media management thinking from management model to companionship and orientation, from supervision to cooperation with social media forces, towards the goal of professionalizing content creation activities and spreading cultural values and Vietnamese people in the new era.
Many delegates attending the conference agreed that social media is not only a communication tool, but also an open cultural space where national identity, lifestyle and emotions are recreated every day. When content creators know how to orient towards human values, when “influencers” become “people who spread Vietnamese values”, social media will become a strategic soft power of the country.
According to Mr. Le Quang Tu Do, Director of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will maintain regular monthly information sessions, aiming to build a cooperation network between management agencies, MCNs and content creators, helping social media keep pace with mainstream press, while spreading positive values and good images of the country.
This event also reflects the effort to establish a new connection mechanism between the State and social creative forces - a suitable direction in an era where the country's "soft power" lies not only in policies, but also in the ability to spread Vietnamese emotions, images and cultural values in the digital space, where national identity, lifestyle, language and emotions are recreated and spread every day.
