The Week of "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" and the 2nd Muong Ethnic Cultural Festival in 2025 are taking place from November 18 to 24 at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism ( Hanoi ).

This year’s event expanded the space for exchange through the program of Promoting and introducing Vietnamese culture to international friends at the “Common House”. The event’s guests were ambassadors, chargé d’affaires and representatives of foreign organizations in Hanoi. Through cultural exchange activities, handicraft demonstrations, cuisine and festivals, the event helped domestic and international tourists gain a deeper understanding of the richness and diversity of Vietnamese culture, thereby opening up opportunities to promote domestic and international cultural and tourism cooperation.

Looking back at recent cultural events, such as the World Cultural Festival in Hanoi in October 2025, it shows that Vietnam is increasingly proactive in integration. The event has created an environment for exchange between Vietnamese artists and artisans and international art troupes.

Similarly, the International Craft Village Conservation and Development Festival taking place at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long with the theme “Conservation-Development-Integration” continues to expand the cooperation network between Vietnam and other countries. The series of activities is forming a rich cultural exchange ecosystem that helps us improve our organizational, communication and public service capacity. The experiences from the above programs are a meaningful foundation for the Great Solidarity Week to be implemented smoothly, effectively and consistently in promoting the national image. The presence of international delegates at the experiential activities will help introduce Vietnamese culture vividly and have a strong influence.

To effectively promote cultural opportunities during the National Unity Week, the content has been carefully prepared to suit international tastes. Programs introducing handicrafts, national costumes, traditional arts and cuisine... create highlights with rich cultural stories. The experiential space is more interactive, ensuring that cultural messages are conveyed clearly and attractively.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with departments, branches, universities, tourism associations and ethnic communities... to organize the work in a synchronous and effective manner. The team of artisans, tour guides and interpreters were trained to accurately convey core values. The young generation is an important successor force in preserving and promoting national culture. The mobilization of students, young tour guides and young volunteers with foreign language skills and cultural understanding has contributed to improving the effectiveness of cultural promotion. This is also an opportunity to foster skills in introduction, multinational communication and modern communication methods, in line with global trends.

Not only is it an occasion to honor the values of cultural heritage and the strength of national solidarity, this year's Great Solidarity Week also concretizes the policy of cultural integration in the spirit of Resolution 59-NQ/T.Ư on International Integration in the New Situation.

This is a great opportunity to promote the image of a unified and diverse Vietnam to international friends. In a broader view, culture is a bridge to build foreign relations and contribute to enhancing the national position. Methodical promotional activities contribute to supporting the development of tourism, creative services and cultural industries. From there, the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism has gradually improved its role as a convergence point, spreading ethnic cultural values in the international exchange environment.
