Spreading values ​​in joining hands to build new rural areas

In recent times, the People's Procuracy of Region 1 has carried out many practical activities towards the grassroots, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing and community responsibility, especially caring for children and people in difficult areas. The specific actions of the unit not only have the meaning of material support but also deeply demonstrate the sentiments and responsibilities of the officers and civil servants of the Procuracy in accompanying the local government for the goal of sustainable development.

Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Procuracy on concretizing the tasks in the new rural construction program for the period 2021-2025, from 2022, the People's Procuracy of Region 1 (formerly the People's Procuracy of Ha Long City) has sponsored three students with especially difficult circumstances: Ly Thi Huyen Linh (Provincial Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities), Trieu Thi Van (Hoanh Bo High School) and Trieu Thu Huong (Dong Lam 1 Primary and Secondary School, Thong Nhat Commune). All three students are ethnic minorities, orphans or have very difficult family circumstances.

With the spirit of "if said, do, commit to, do, do it with results", the collective leadership, unions, cadres and civil servants in the unit regularly visit, encourage, and support the children with cash and in kind every month. On holidays, Tet, opening or closing of the school year, the children are given gifts to encourage their learning spirit. From that care, the children are increasingly making progress in their studies and are more confident in life.

Trieu Thi Van, Hoanh Bo High School shared: I always try to study well to not let down my teachers and the people of the Procuracy who have cared for and helped me. Everyone's encouragement makes me more confident and gives me faith, and I strive to overcome difficulties and rise up.

Not only stopping at sponsorship activities, the People's Procuracy of Region 1 also implemented many meaningful projects and tasks at schools and difficult areas. The unit donated schoolyard benches to Hoanh Bo Ethnic Boarding School (now the Provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities), built a walkway for Trieu Thu Huong's family, supported a playground worth 30 million VND for students of Dong Lam 1 Primary and Secondary School; coordinated with Quang Ninh Provincial Youth Union and Ha Long City Youth Union to organize the 2024 Spring Festival to give hundreds of gifts to students.

In particular, in coordination with the Youth Union of the Supreme People's Procuracy, the WESET English System, the V-Stars Artist Club successfully organized a program to propagate and disseminate the law and presented 5 sets of computers and 10 full English scholarships, with a total gift value of more than 400 million VND to students of the Provincial Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities; the Regional Division 1 coordinated with the Quang Ninh Young Architects Club to organize a program to present gifts to children at the Provincial Child Care and Sponsorship Facility;   On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025, the Division organized the program "Full Moon Festival Night" for children of officials, civil servants and local children, visited and gave Mid-Autumn gifts to three sponsored students, showing timely care and encouragement, helping them have more joy in studying and life...

In the 2025-2026 school year, the People's Procuracy of Region 1 continues to accompany the education sector in many meaningful activities. Although the gifts are not of great value, they contain timely encouragement, adding motivation for students to strive to study and practice. The unit's representative also discussed with the school's Board of Directors about coordinating management and support for disadvantaged students, thereby contributing to improving the quality of education.

Along with that, the unit actively cooperates with agencies and organizations to organize many forms of vivid legal education and dissemination such as mock trials, seminars, and legal exchanges, helping cadres, union members and people better understand legal regulations and raise awareness of compliance in daily life. These practical activities have contributed to spreading the spirit of "rule of law", bringing the law closer to the people.

Through simple but persistent actions, the People's Procuracy of Region 1 has been spreading the spirit of humanity and responsibility to the community. Each gift, each project, each visit shows the sharing and concern of the Procuracy's officers and civil servants towards the people. These activities not only contribute to enhancing the image and prestige of the unit but also sow good and sustainable values ​​in society.
