Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Gioi, President of the Vietnam Library Association, said: On February 24, 2014, the Prime Minister issued a decision designating April 21st as Vietnam Book Day. This is also the day that leader Nguyen Ai Quoc printed his famous work "The Revolutionary Path" in Guangzhou (China).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Giang, Director of the Hai Duong Provincial Library, receives meaningful books donated by 1980 Books Culture and Communication Company for the library's readers.

Delegates and guests visited the thematic book exhibition area. The exhibition booth was elaborately organized with attractive themes, including more than 1,000 books about the victory of April 30th, the victory of Dien Bien Phu, and the birthday of President Ho Chi Minh …

Taking place from April 5th to April 21st, 2025, the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025, themed "Together with books, we enter the era of national progress," will be organized with many rich and attractive activities, creating motivation for people to become more attached to books and develop reading habits.

Students from Vo Thi Sau Primary School visited the exhibition and arranged books artistically. Many types of books were on display, including local history books, life skills books, children's books, and books about President Ho Chi Minh… This was an opportunity for readers to access a rich treasure trove of knowledge.

The students also had the opportunity to interact directly with the host. Many interesting questions revolving around knowledge, life skills, and the value of reading were asked, bringing laughter and excitement along with attractive prizes.

Over 100 young "intellectuals" from Tran Phu Kindergarten visited the book exhibition booth.

Unlike a typical lesson, today the students were led hand in hand into a classroom without a blackboard or chalk, a place where the pages of books were turned, igniting a love of reading.

Besides listening and reading, the children also got to "draw the pages of the book" with their imagination through a book-based painting activity organized by the World Art Center.

Students from Vo Thi Sau Primary School and Hai Tan Primary School participated in the "Ringing the Golden Bell" competition, showcasing their extensive knowledge and enthusiastic spirit of learning.

The Book Festival is not just an event, but also a bridge that brings knowledge closer to the younger generation through creative, lively, and engaging activities.
