
Representatives from the Faculty of International Studies, Thai Nguyen University, presented books to Thanh Mai commune.
Attending the program were representatives from the People's Council and People's Committee of Thanh Mai commune, along with representatives from various departments, agencies, and organizations; and representatives from the International Faculty.
As part of the program, the International Faculty donated over 200 books to the community library to contribute to the development of reading culture and provide opportunities for people, especially students, to access more useful knowledge. The materials included: reference books for learning, research, and entertainment; children's books and stories; life skills books; family health care guides; and other useful materials with educational value and critical thinking development. In the future, the International Faculty will continue to mobilize and donate more books, especially textbooks at all levels, to support and serve the learning needs of children from disadvantaged families and those receiving government assistance in the local area.
The project, which includes a library and community cultural center linked to a community health care center and elderly care center, aims to promote reading culture, create a community space, and contribute to improving the spiritual well-being and health of local residents, especially the elderly. This is also a practical activity demonstrating the social responsibility and commitment to the community of the International Faculty, Thai Nguyen University.
Through this program, the International Faculty continues to spread the spirit of learning and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh ; contributing to building a learning, humane, and sustainable development community in the locality.
