On the evening of October 20, at the Cultural and Cinema Center of Ha Tinh province, the art program “Forever the revolutionary path of the youth” and the 110th anniversary of Ly Tu Trong’s birth took place. The program was organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in coordination with Ha Tinh province. |

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; Former First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Honorary President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association Hoang Binh Quan; Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Dinh Thi Mai; First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Bui Quang Huy; Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Nguyen Minh Triet. On the local side, there were Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Hoang Trung Dung; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung; Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai, along with former leaders, representatives of departments, branches, relatives of Ly Tu Trong and many people and youth of the province. |

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha emphasized: “We are entering a new era of development shaped and led by scientific and technological achievements of the fourth industrial revolution and the trend of green transformation and digital transformation, with the most important resources being knowledge and innovation. The pioneering flag for the nation to enter the new era is given to the young generation with aspirations, ambitions, youth and the ability to master new knowledge and technology, ready to adapt and integrate deeply into the international community; a passionate spirit of patriotism and a desire to affirm the two words Vietnam in the international arena”. |

First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union Bui Quang Huy expressed his emotion and pride in remembering comrade Ly Tu Trong - an outstanding son of his hometown Ha Tinh, the first communist youth union member, a loyal revolutionary soldier who heroically fell for the revolutionary cause. "Continuing the revolutionary path of comrade Ly Tu Trong and previous generations, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and youth organizations today have the responsibility to strengthen the gathering, solidarity, training and education of young people; firmly adhere to issues of principle but also need to constantly innovate the content and methods of operation to suit the awareness, needs and tastes of young people, contributing to building an increasingly strong Youth Union; continue to strive in studying, working and training to contribute young people to building the country, worthy of the expectations of previous generations", said Mr. Bui Quang Huy. |
