Party and State leaders send congratulatory messages on US Independence Day

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the occasion of the 249th anniversary of the Independence Day of the United States of America (July 4, 1776 - July 4, 2025) and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - United States diplomatic relations (July 12, 1995 - July 12, 2025), on July 4, 2025, General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent congratulatory messages to President of the United States of America Donald Trump.

On this occasion, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man also sent congratulatory messages to Mr. James David Vance, President of the Senate and Mr. Mike Johnson, Speaker of the United States House of Representatives.

In their congratulatory messages, senior leaders of the Vietnamese Party and State reaffirmed that Vietnam consistently considers the United States one of its strategically important partners, welcoming the United States' support for a "strong, independent, self-reliant and prosperous" Vietnam.
