Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Nuoi (104 years old) in Van An 3 village, Tu Nghia commune, Quang Ngai province.
On July 23, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics , Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang and the working delegation visited and presented gifts to typical policy families in Quang Ngai province on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).
Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Nuoi (104 years old, in Van An 3 village, Tu Nghia commune). Mother Nuoi joined the revolution in 1964 and was captured by the enemy from 1967 to 1971 in Lao Xa, Quang Ngai. She had 4 children, one of whom was martyr Doan Gioi, who died in 1968. Her husband was martyr Doan Luyen, who died in 1967.
Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang visited and presented gifts to the wife of martyr Doan Buoi in Van An 3 village, Tu Nghia commune, Quang Ngai province.
The delegation also visited and presented gifts to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao (85 years old, in Van An 3 village, Tu Nghia commune), the wife of martyr Doan Buoi who died in 1965. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao herself joined the revolution in 1965 and was imprisoned by the enemy from 1965 to 1966.
On the same afternoon, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang and the delegation visited and presented gifts to war invalids: Luu Van Tu (71 years old, in Lien Hiep 2B residential group, Truong Quang Trong ward); Dang Thi Tuyet (89 years old, in Truong Tho village, Tho Phong commune).
The delegation inquired about the health, encouraged the spirit, and expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the wounded soldiers and martyrs' families in the struggle for national independence and reunification.
On the same morning, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang and the working delegation offered flowers and incense, visited the Cam Thanh Ward Martyrs' Cemetery (former Quang Ngai City Martyrs' Cemetery); visited the Tu Nghia Commune Public Service Center (former Quang Ngai). The delegation asked the staff about the work situation and people's livelihood issues such as land, land use rights conversion; and paid attention to technology issues, interconnection from the Central to communes and wards when operating a 2-level local government.

On July 23, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh visited and presented gifts to policy families in Tay Ninh province.
Party Central Committee member, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh spoke at the program.
Attending the event were Secretary of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Quyet; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Social Affairs Lam Van Doan, along with leaders of the Tay Ninh Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Provincial People's Council, People's Committee and departments, branches and sectors.
The delegation visited, encouraged and presented 1,000 gifts (worth 1 million VND/gift) to families of policy beneficiaries, war invalids, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, and people with revolutionary contributions in the communes of Tan Dong, Cau Khoi, Hung Thuan, Tuyen Binh, Khanh Hung and Vinh Hung.
At Tan Dong commune (a new border commune established on the basis of merging Tan Ha and old Tan Dong communes of Tan Chau district), Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh and the working delegation visited and presented 200 gifts to policy families; expressing deep gratitude for the great sacrifices of previous generations.

Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh said that through the resistance wars and the journey of building and defending the country, millions of outstanding people have fallen, sacrificing their blood and bones for national independence. War invalids, sick soldiers, martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and people with meritorious services are beautiful symbols of revolutionary heroism. They are shining examples of patriotism, indomitable spirit and strong will of the Vietnamese people. The Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly acknowledged and commended the province for effectively implementing the work of gratitude, mobilizing many resources to care for the material and spiritual life of people with meritorious services.
Tay Ninh has over 143,000 people enjoying preferential treatment for people with revolutionary contributions and other policies. Of which, Tan Dong commune has over 600,000 people (war invalids, sick soldiers, resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals, martyrs, etc.). In recent times, the Party and State have always paid attention to and improved preferential policies for people with revolutionary contributions; promoted gratitude activities, and ensured the lives of people with revolutionary contributions.
Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh suggested that the province continue to thoroughly grasp resolutions, directives and ordinances related to people with meritorious services; ensure a living standard of average or above for people with meritorious services and their families. The province coordinates in searching, gathering and identifying the remains of martyrs; mobilizes resources to carry out the movement "Repaying gratitude". At the same time, the province strengthens education on patriotic traditions for the younger generation, spreading the spirit of gratitude and responsibility.
“With responsibility, deep affection and gratitude, the Party, State and people always respect and remember the great contributions of comrades. In any circumstances, war invalids, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution are always shining examples of the will to rise up, the spirit of self-reliance and self-improvement,” Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh emphasized.
Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh also hopes that the people of Tay Ninh will continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, actively participate in economic development, and legitimately enrich themselves. Tay Ninh people will actively build cultural families and new lives in residential areas, making practical contributions to the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas, maintaining security and order, and actively participating in the effective implementation of the two-level local government model.
